The result is firm, radiant skin, and improved texture and tone of the face, eyelids, neck, chest, and hands.

Age, environment, and heredity can all have an effect on the appearance of skin. Sun exposure can lead to the development of brown spots, pigment changes,  loss of elasticity, and wrinkles. Laser treatments effectively restore youthfulness through a reduction in pigmentation irregularities and wrinkles, restoring elasticity, correcting sun or acne damage and brightening skin tone.

TO START

There is a range of laser and light wavelengths for the treatment of various skin conditions, which can be adjusted to treat each patient's skin with maximum precision and delicacy. To determine best course of treatment, an consultation with Dr. Brady is essential. The process starts with a comprehensive discussion about your goals, followed by a careful examination of your skin. Dr. Brady will suggest the laser resurfacing technique, or combination of non-surgical or minimally invasive techniques that suit you best.

ESSENTIALS

  • Laser resurfacing minimizes appearance of acne scars; can treat sun damage, age spots and pigmentation irregularities, reduces the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles, helps clear uneven skin tone, can tighten lower eyelids and  creates smoother, soften skin.
  • The treatment uses Skiton laser technology that penetrates the skin, creating a local thermal reaction that stimulates cellular renewal. This, in turn, replaces dull, wrinkled skin with fresh, rejuvenated skin. Laser resurfacing stimulates the body’s natural production of collagen, the protein responsible for keeping skin taut and supple.
  • Generally, these treatments take about 30 minutes or less and  are performed with a topical anesthesia. or under light sedation. The exact duration and procedure depends on your individual condition.

RECOVERY

Redness and swelling may occur, but  typically does not produce more discomfort than a mild sunburn. The  sensation may continue for 2 - 5 days following the treatment. Depending on the type of laser treatment you receive, you will be seen by Dr. Brady and his aesthetician, Meagan Kelly, at regular intervals during your recovery to ensure optimal results.
