Aveli™ Treatment for Cellulite
Aveli™ delivers a long-term reduction in the appearance of cellulite in the buttocks and thighs.
Cellulite is a dimple or depression that appears on the buttocks and thighs of up to 90% of women. Cellulite does not occur because women have poor skin quality or are overweight, it is due to the presence of fibrous bands that tether the skin and create these depressions.

The fibrous bands that create the dimples of cellulite are called septae. They are made from dense fibrous tissue that connects the skin to the deeper muscles. The septae have no function other than creating the troublesome dimples that we call cellulite. Aveli™ is an FDA approved and minimally invasive treatment for cellulite. The Aveli™ device allows the doctor to identify and divide the septae leading to an immediate smoothing of the overlying skin.

Aveli™ can be performed under local anesthesia or with light sedation if the patient prefers. Most patients experience mild bruising and swelling but are able to return to normal activities within a few days. The result of this treatment is a smoothing of the skin, and it is permanent.
